I am Elies van de Kamp, a Master's graduate in Integrated Product Design with a specialization in Medesign from TU Delft. I am passionate about designing unique products that enhance users' lives. Problem-solving drives me, and I am always eager to develop impactful solutions that seamlessly integrate into my designs. My curiosity, trend sensitivity, and fascination for shapes and materials enable me to create aesthetically distinctive and functional designs.
I am particularly interested in technical and medical product design, with a strong focus on innovative materials and striking aesthetics. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing people enjoy life a little more because of my designs. My ability to generate multiple solutions for a single challenge allows me to contribute meaningfully to improving users' experiences.
Beyond design, my work experience has strengthened my leadership skills, decision-making, and ability to collaborate within diverse teams. Having grown up in an entrepreneurial environment, I developed a creative mindset, a proactive attitude, and a strong goal-oriented approach.
In my free time, I love sailing, field hockey, and tennis. As a sailing instructor, I teach children how to sail and mentor fellow instructors to enhance their skills. Additionally, photography is a passion of mine—I completed a digital photography course two years ago and now use my skills both recreationally and professionally in my studies and work. To stay creatively inspired, I also enjoy painting and drawing.
